Cycle: Guest Observer program cycle. Guest investigations are solicited on an annual basis, with a cycle start date of Jun each year. Quarter: The spacecraft completes a 90º roll every 3 months to optimize solar panel efficiency. Operational concerns can result in future rolls occurring slightly upon different dates to those advertised. Long cadence Kepler data are archived in files of length 1 quarter. Quarter Period: Beginning and end dates for data collection. Data Archived: Data is ingested at the MAST around these dates. Guest Observers have access to their data on these dates. KASC data: From quarter 9 onwards, the end of exclusive use period for KASC data was coupled with the exoplanet survey data. End of Exclusive Use Period: Kepler data will be publicly available on these dates. From quarter 14 onwards, no Kepler data will be delivered to the archive with an exclusive use period. |
